Are you a mechanically minded engineer who enjoys solving problems and helping people?

We’re working with a global engineering company that’s looking for a Technical Support Engineer to join their growing team in Milton Keynes. You’ll become the go-to technical expert for customers and the sales team, offering advice, troubleshooting support, and helping bring new ideas and products to life.
What you’ll be doing:
* Providing technical support to customers and the sales team (by phone and email)
* Getting involved with new product development and proposals
* Analysing customer product returns and writing reports
* Visiting customers to support applications and identify solutions
* Delivering product training and webinars
* Researching the market and keeping an eye on competitors
* Helping manage product ranges, including new launches and updates
What we’re looking for:
* A degree, HNC, or HND in Mechanical Engineering (or similar)
* Someone who enjoys problem-solving and thinking logically
* Strong communicator, confident over the phone and email
* Comfortable presenting technical topics clearly – both face-to-face and online
* Some hands-on testing, diagnostic, or lab experience
* Experience juggling multiple projects and priorities
Bonus points if you have:
* Experience in automation systems or design
* Worked in a technical sales or applications support role before
