As a Maintenance Engineer, you€™ll be a key part of the team delivering high-quality electrical and mechanical maintenance. This Maintenance Engineer role is hands-on, focused on keeping production running, solving faults quickly, and driving improvements. Strong training is available, and they€™re open to engineers from different backgrounds who bring solid core skills.
What You€™ll Be Doing:
€¢ Carrying out planned and reactive electrical and mechanical maintenance
€¢ Fault finding on electrical systems, motors, sensors, and control equipment
€¢ Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults on conveyors, gearboxes, and production lines
€¢ Supporting production to minimise downtime and maximise efficiency
€¢ Troubleshooting breakdowns quickly and effectively
€¢ Identifying and delivering continuous improvement opportunities
€¢ Recording maintenance activities and equipment performance
What We€™re Looking For:
€¢ Experience as a Maintenance Engineer, Shift Engineer, or multi-skilled engineer
€¢ Strong mechanical bias with electrical fault-finding skills
€¢ Background in manufacturing, FMCG, food production, or transferable environments
€¢ Comfortable working Panama shifts (days and nights)
€¢ Proactive, problem-solving approach to maintenance
€¢ Strong teamwork and communication skills
€¢ Engineering qualification or apprenticeship preferred
